It's been awhile since we've posted.  After a long wait, our homestudy is complete and ready to be sent to China with our dossier.  Today we went to Cleveland for more fingerprinting - this time at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security.  It was certainly much more pleasant than the Summit County Jail!  The ladies were very efficient, and we got right in and out.  That left time for a visit to The Great Lakes Science Center, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed.

We are mailing in our application this week to Show Hope, Steven Curtis Chapman's organization which provides financial assistance to families who are adopting.  We need a great deal of prayer that they will see our need for financial help and consider choosing us as one of the families they help.  We are starting to feel the financial burden of the adoption process, and our greatest need at this point is that the Lord will continue to provide so we can bring our little girl home.  We know that it is ultimately His will and His timing, but we would definitely appreciate a great deal of prayer in regards to finances.

As soon as we receive our paperwork back from U.S.C.I.S. that our fingerprints and the other paperwork are in order, we are ready to send our dossier to the adoption agency.  With the dossier, we will need to include a rather hefty check.  The Lord has not provided this money for us yet, and it will be due within the next couple weeks.  Once our dossier is processed by our agency, it can be translated and sent to China so we can be logged in and ready for a referral of our little girl.  Please pray for us!
